A downloadable game for Windows

Built with GameMaker Studio 2. I followed Shaun Spalding's YouTube tutorial on how to make a Zelda-like ARPG, but I put some more emphasis on "Zelda-like".

Sprites used were ripped by:

Install instructions

  • Click 'Download'
  • When it's finished downloading, click 'Show in Folder', or navigate your computer to wherever you saved the download
  • Right-click the zipped folder and Extract All
  • Select 'Extract' if you're happy with the destination folder
  • Double-click the Application, which is creatively titled 'Action RPG Tutorial'
  • If Windows tries to warn you that this is an "unrecognized app that might put your PC at risk" or something to that effect, run it anyway. I wouldn't know how to harm your computer even if I wanted to
  • Have fun! Or don't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
